The organisers of the first ever Asia Hotel Design Awards have announced that internationally recognised designer Jaya Ibrahim is to receive the Outstanding Contribution Award at this year’s inaugural ceremony. The event takes place at PARKROYAL on Pickering, on Thursday 12 March and will attract leading hotel owners, operators, designers, architects and consultants from across the region.

Awards Director Matt Turner commented: “We are delighted to be honouring a leading industry figure such as Jaya Ibrahim for our first Asia Hotel Design Awards. Recipients of the award for Outstanding Contribution to European Hotel Design have included such respected figures as Ian Schrager, Sir Terence Conran, Tim & Kit Kemp, and last year, the late Alex Calderwood of Ace Hotel.
